"I am living a healthy life in the strong body I always dreamed of. Jenny helped me to try again by working with my food likes and dislikes and giving me strategies that fit my lifestyle. I never felt like I was "on a diet."

Before you choose another diet and get frustrated you weren't able to sustain it...
You CAN make lifestyle changes without dieting.
The process of transforming your eating choices and amounts occurs in our nutrition counseling sessions. In our counseling sessions we will examine your eating patterns, better understand what leads to your habit of overeating and how to intercept your urges to eat when you’re not hungry. You will ultimately approach eating with a more flexible mindset and gain greater confidence with your eating choices and amounts.
Most weight loss program focus on giving you specific guidelines as to exactly what you can eat and what you can’t eat, and exactly how much you should be eating. While many of these programs, such as Weight Watchers, are also designed to help you relearn habits, there is still a tendency to feel that only by following the rules of that program is it possible to lose weight. Unfortunately, when the program ends, people often stop trying and regain the weight. This is contrary to work we do. Instead, we will be working together to find ways to make personal, mindful choices around your eating, but ones that still help you lose weight, and for the long haul.
What clients say
"It's not easy, but if you focus and become more aware of the food you are eating and make an effort to increase activity levels, anyone can do it. The great thing about working with Jenny is that she inspires by teaching, not preaching. She presents the facts and proven methods for losing weight and changing our habits in order to live a healthier life. And she's always there for support; whether it's a phone call, email or quick text. I feel better. I have more energy. I am more aware of my food choices. And I am inspired to lose more weight and live a healthier life."

"Jenny is a master at running support groups. She keeps the conversation lively and keeps everyone involved. She brings us fantastic tips to keep our healthy eating interesting, which is a very big deal. She gets important information across without being preachy and she genuinely cares about the success of everybody in the room. These groups are an integral part of my ongoing success. Very recently, when I complained about not losing 100% of the weight I wanted to lose, the doc asked, 'And when was the last time you kept your weight off for five years?' I replied, 'Well, let’s see...that would be...never."

Founder of Change My Eating
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
I am Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training instructor with over 15 years of experience in disordered eating, diabetes, PCOS, bariatric nutrition and obesity. I learned early on the challenge of mindless overeating. I started becoming aware of the implications of unhealthy eating by witnessing my own steady weight gain in addition to my father’s own struggle with obesity. These issues are what what led me to pursue a Bachelor’s of Science in Dietetics + Food Administration, as well as Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition in hopes of finding solutions to the disease of obesity. In launching Change My Eating, I bring with me a wealth of clinical experience from treating hundreds of patients at Cedars-Sinai’s Center for Weight Loss and The Diabetes Outpatient Treatment and Education Center. I have worked really hard at developing a healthier relationship with food and feel confident that I can show you how.
In addition to my private practice, I enjoy dispelling nutrition myths and teaching the fundamentals of nutrition science to impressionable college students at Santa Monica College.
